Eurovision 2026: The international promo tour concluded with impressive performances by Akylas in Romania and the United Kingdom

With two impressive appearances by Akylas in Romania and the United Kingdom, the international promo tour of Greece’s entry for Eurovision 2026 was completed, just before the delegation’s departure for Vienna.

On Saturday, April 18, 2026, Akylas presented “Ferto” at a special event held at the Greek Embassy in Bucharest. Among those in attendance were the Ambassador of Greece to Romania, Lili Evangelia Grammatiká, and the President of the Union of Greeks of Romania, Member of Parliament Dragoș Gabriel Zisopol, as well as many Greeks living in the country and international fans. In a particularly warm and festive atmosphere, Akylas interacted with the audience, while a highlight was his welcome by the “Kymata” group of the Union of Greeks of Romania, featuring traditional dances and costumes from Macedonia.

During his stay in Romania, Akylas gave numerous interviews to major media outlets, including the country’s public broadcaster TVR, where the Greek representative appeared live on a program of the first channel.

The next and final stop of Akylas’s promo tour was London. On Sunday, April 19, 2026, Greece’s representative delivered an explosive performance at the London Eurovision Party 2026, the last meeting point for Eurovision artists ahead of the 70th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, receiving the warmest applause from the audience.
