Akylas with “Ferto” will represent Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest
The music grew louder, the suspense reached its peak! On Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 21:00, the Grand Final of “Sing for Greece 2026” was broadcast by ERT and the 14 candidate artists competed for the golden ticket leading to Vienna and to representing Greece at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest.
Akylas with Ferto was the big winner.
The 14 candidate performers who competed, in order of appearance, were:

The Grand Final, hosted by Giorgos Kapoutzidis, Betty Magkira and Katerina Vrana, was broadcast live on ΕΡΤ1, ERT World and via ERTFLIX with accessibility services, as well as on radio by Δεύτερο Πρόγραμμα 103.7, in a special program presented by Michaela Tehofilou and Dimitris Meidanis Δημήτρης, as well as by The Voice of Greece and via ERT εcho.
During the show, the unique Χρήστος Μάστορας appeared as a special guest, performing live and offering special moments with his interpretations and boundless energy.
Present at the Grand Final was also the U.S. Ambassador to Greece, Κίμπερλι Γκίλφοϊλ, the first woman to hold the position following her official assumption of duties in November 2025. Also present were the Ambassador of Moldova, Andrei Popov, and the Ambassador of Germany, Andreas Kindl.
From early Sunday afternoon, Kelly Vranaki and Thanos Papahambos Θάνος were live on ERT’s Social Media, sharing interviews with artists, the backstage pulse, and many surprises on ERT’s official Instagram accounts (@eurovisionERT, @ertofficial) and Facebook.
The grand winner was determined by the combined vote of the public (50%), as well as two juries, one Greek (25%) and one international (25%).
