As already announced, jury voting returns to the Semi-Finals for the first time since 2022. Jury votes will be combined with the results of the public vote to determine the 10 songs qualifying from each Semi-Final.
In the Grand Final, 20 songs will compete, along with the five entries from ORF (Austria), FT (France), ARD/SWR (Germany), RAI (Italy) and BBC (United Kingdom), which qualify automatically.
Viewers from all participating countries, as well as from the Rest of the World, together with the juries appointed by the 35 participating broadcasters, will vote in the Grand Final to determine the winner.
The allocation draw, which will determine in which Semi-Final each country will compete, will take place in Vienna on Monday, 12 January 2026.
Martin Green CBE, Director of the Eurovision Song Contest, said:
“As we prepare to celebrate 70 years of the Eurovision Song Contest, it remains a space where voices, cultures, languages and music coexist. A space where people from different backgrounds can show that a better world is possible. We are delighted to welcome back BNT (Bulgaria), TVR (Romania) and TRM (Moldova), who will join 32 other public service broadcasters in Vienna in 2026. Their return is a clear reminder of the enduring power of the Eurovision Song Contest and of what it truly means to be united through music.”
ORF Executive Producer Michael Krön added:
“We are very much looking forward to welcoming every delegation and, of course, to being warm hosts to all 35 participating broadcasters in May.”
