Γνωρίζοντας την Demy…
Η αγάπη που έχει για την μουσική φάνηκε ήδη από πολύ νωρίς αφού ξεκίνησε να μαθαίνει πιάνο στα 5 της χρόνια ,πριν ακόμα ξεκινήσει το σχολείο.
Παράλληλα, γράφτηκε στην χορωδία του ωδείου και επίσης, παρακολούθησε μαθήματα θεωρίας και αρμονίας, ενώ σήμερα συνεχίζει να παρακολουθεί μαθήματα φωνητικής και πιάνου. Τελειώνοντας το σχολείο, η κατά κόσμον Δήμητρα Παπαδέα, πέρασε στη Νομική Αθηνών όπου και φοιτά ακόμα. Έχοντας ακούσματα από πολλά είδη μουσικής, μεταξύ των οποίων ξεχωρίζει την jazz, την soul, το rock n roll και την r’n’b, επιδιώκει να πειραματίζεται σε κάθε της τραγούδι και ερμηνεία και δύσκολα εντάσσει τον εαυτό της σε ένα είδος μουσικής.
Η συνέχεια οδήγησε την Demy στην Panik Records όπου με το Breakthrough single ‘Μια ζωγραφιά (Ο Κόσμος μας)’ γνώρισε τεράστια επιτυχία με πάνω από 10.000.000 Youtube views και παραμονή στη κορυφή του airplay chart για μήνες!(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IO7CS64-B2E).
To 2011, η Demy μας παρουσίασε το 2012 version του «Μόνο Μπροστά».Τους στίχους έγραψε ο OGE και η Romy Papadea, ενώ την παραγωγή του τραγουδιού επιμελήθηκε η ομάδα παραγωγών Lemonplay. Το «Μόνο Μπροστά» ανέβηκε στην Νο1 θέση του national airplay chart, στο ελληνικό ρεπερτόριο και συνεχίζει να είναι στο top 5 μεταξύ διεθνών καλλιτεχνών!.(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfnGTDJ52qs)
Επόμενη της συμμετοχή, είναι στο τραγούδι Fallin’ των κορυφαίων Ελλήνων djs και μουσικών παραγωγών, Playmen. Με τη γλυκιά και τόσο χαρακτηριστική, πλέον, χροιά της φωνής της, δίνει το δικό της μελωδικό χαρακτήρα σε ένα τόσο δυνατό dance hit, φτάνοντας ακόμα μια φορά στην κορυφή των chart!(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8Am9gfAzQM)
Το “Fallin” κυκλοφόρησε παγκόσμια από τη διεθνούς φήμης δισκογραφική εταιρεία Ultra και στην Αν. Ευρώπη από την αντίστοιχα δυναμικά ανερχόμενη Broma16 όπου και εκεί κατέκτησε το Νο1 στα charts! Την άνοιξη του 2012 τους περίμεναν πάνω από 50.000 fans στο Europa Plus Festival στη Ρωσία για να τους αποθεώσουν σε μια live εμφάνιση μετά από την τεράστια αυτή ραδιοφωνική επιτυχία.
Η κυκλοφορία του πρώτου της cd single με τις δύο μεγάλες επιτυχίες «Μια Ζωγραφιά (Ο Κόσμος μας)» και «Μόνο Μπροστά» και το νέο ακυκλοφόρητο τραγούδι με τίτλο «Κράτησε με», έγινε σε μία μόλις εβδομάδα χρυσό σε πωλήσεις!
Το καλοκαιρινό της single «Πόσες Χιλιάδες Καλοκαίρια» ξεπέρασε κάθε προηγούμενο ελληνικής παραγωγής μένοντας κολλημένο στο Νο1 του official airplay chart του Media Inspector για πάνω από 10 εβδομάδες χαρίζοντας στη Demy μια ακόμη πρωτιά!

Ενώ το καλοκαίρι του 2013 κλείνει επεισοδιακά με το hit single “The Sun” που κυκλοφορεί με την υπογραφή του χρυσού παραγωγού Alex Leon Ένα ultimate καλοκαιρινό single που φτάνει το Νο1 των chart και μένει εκεί για μήνες, χαρίζοντας της άλλη μια μουσική καταξίωση. Το Σεπτέμβριο του 2013 επιστρέφει στα charts με ένα ορμητικά συναισθηματικό τραγούδι γεμίζοντας μας με την μοναδική της ενέργεια! «Μένω» είναι το επόμενο single της Demy, που εμπεριέχεται στο πλατινένιο της δίσκο #1, μια δυναμική μελωδία του Δημήτρη Κοντόπουλου, σε στίχους του Νίκου Μωραΐτη!
H Demy, μετρά διακρίσεις, όπως η κατάκτηση 4 βραβείων στα Mad Video Music Awards, συνεργασίες ορόσημα όπως με το Σάκη Ρουβά και την Άννα Βίσση, τον πρωταγωνιστικό της ρόλο στο θρυλικό μιούσικαλ Fame , και μία πλατινένια απονομή για τον πρώτο της δίσκο «#1» από την Panik Records.
Ο Ιανουάριος του 2014 βρίσκει την Demy με μια ακόμη πολύ επιτυχημένη συνεργασία με τους Playmen για το κομμάτι “Nothing Better” .
Τον Απρίλιο του 2014 η Demy κατέχει άλλον έναν πρωταγωνιστικό ρόλο, αυτό της ντίβας στο μουσικο-θεατρικό show “Priscilla”, με μια ερμηνεία αποκάλυψη, αποσπώντας διθυραμβικές κριτικές!
Το 2014 με το Hit Single «Όσο ο κόσμος θα έχει εσένα», , κατακτά την Νο1 θέση στα Ελληνικά airplay charts σε πολύ σύντομο χρονικό διάστημα και παραμένει στην κορυφαία θέση για πολλές εβδομάδες! Το 2014 θριαμβευτική χρονία, έκλεισε με την παρουσία της Demy ως music coach στο μουσικό talent show για παιδιά –The Music School, την κυκλοφορία του πολύ-αναμενόμενου 2ου album της Ρόδινο Όνειρο.
Το καλοκαίρι του 2015, κατακτά δύο βραβεία στα Mad Video Music Awards 2015, Καλύτερο Ντουέτο – Όσο ο κόσμος θα έχει εσένα, Best Female Modern και εκπλήσει το κοινό και τους κρητικούς με την εντυπωσιακή ερμηνεία της στον πρωταγωνιστικό ρόλο της Μαρίας Φον Τράπ στο musical «Μελωδία της Ευτυχίας». Το musical περιόδευσε σε όλη την Ελλάδα, με τις περισσότερες παραστάσεις να είναι sold–out.

About Demy
Her love for music was evident from the very beginning, since she took up her first piano lessons at the young age of five, before even going to school. Meanwhile, she enrolled for the school choir and also attended music theory and harmony lessons, while she hasn’t stop taking vocal coaching as well as piano lessons up until today.
After graduating school, Dimitra Papadea, as is her real name, was accepted in the Law School of Athens, which she is still attending. Her musical influences come from many different kinds of music, out of which she distinguishes jazz, soul, rock n’ roll and r’n’b, aiming to experiment with every one of her songs, as she avoids categorizing herself in one particular kind of music.
The beginning of her professional career in music began with a project of the music producer and rapper OGE, who managed in combination with Demy’s contribution, to create the first huge and unexpected success which goes by the name “Mono Mprosta”!
Shortly after, Demy collaborated with Midenistis for the single “Mia Zografia (O Kosmos Mas)” which was released by Panik Record and met huge success gaining over 10.000.000 YouTube Views and remaining on the Top of the National Airplay Chart for months long!
Right before the 2011 new-year holiday, Demy presented her 2012 version of “Mono Mprosta” The lyrics were signed by OGE and Romy Papadea, while behind the production of the song was Lemonplay production team. “Mono Mprosta” rose to position No1 of the National Airplay Chart among the Greek artists and within the top5 among international artists!
Her next collaboration was with the top Greek DJs and music producers Playmen for the song “Fallin”. With her characteristic, by that time, voice tone, she gave her very own melodic identity to a really strong dance hit, reaching once again the top of the charts!
“Fallin” was released worldwide by the internationally acclaimed record company Ultra as well as in the Eastern Europe by an evenly dynamic upcoming label Broma16 where it also reached No1 position in charts! In spring 2012, over 50.000 fans attended the Europa Plus Festival in Russia in order to watch and glorify them in their live appearance after their huge radio success. The yearly chart for 2012 ended with “Fallin” in No1 position for all Eastern Europe!
A unique appearance of hers was the one for the 2012 Fashion Music Project Show, where she entered the stage raised on the top of a giant mountain of cupcakes and marshmallows, accompanied her musically for designer’s CELIA KRITHARIOTI HAUTE COUTURE fashion show. In a lollipop, sweet and candy scenery Demy and Midenistis sang the biggest hit of the year “Mia Zografia (O Kosmos Mas)”. Following that, Demy sang a mash up of her No1 hit “Mono Mprosta” by Lemoplay in the rhythm of UB40.
The release of her first CD Single including the two great hits “Mia Zografia (O Kosmos Mas)” and “Mono Mprosta”, as well as the new unreleased song titled “Kratise Me”, became golden in sales within just a week’s time!
Her summer single “Poses Xiliades Kalokairia” surpassed all records of previous Greek productions remaining on the top of the Official National Airplay Chart of the Media Inspector for over 10 weeks gaining Demy one more success! A song singed by two very important creators. Dimitris Kontopoulos (composition and production) and Nikos Moraitis (lyrics), two of the most acclaimed creators in Greece granted a “magical” song to the best debut singer of the year.
For the 2011 “Women of the Year” Awards, Demy was awarded in the category “Debutante
Woman of the Year” and almost monopolized the categories of the 2012 Video Music Awards, being a candidate in 6 different categories and being awarded in the very important category of “Best New Act” as well as for “Best Hip Hop/Urban Video Clip” and for the “Best collaboration” in the song “Mia Zografia (O Kosmos Mas)”.
Winter 2012 began with her new single “I Zoi (To Pio Omorfo Tragoudi)” which reached No1 position in the Official National Airplay Chart of the Media Inspector within 4 weeks after its release!
The success of Demy goes on in 2013, where she bares proudly the title of “the musical phenomenon”, as every one of her new releases reaches the top.
The summer of 2013 ends spectacularly with the hit single “The Sun” being released under the signature of the golden music producer Alex Leon. An ultimate summer single which reached No1 in charts, remaining there for months long and gaining her one more musical recognition.
Demy has gained accreditations, such as 4 Video Music Awards, milestone collaborations such as with Sakis Rouvas and Anna Vissi, the leading role in the epic musical “FAME”, a platinum record distribution for her album “#1” by Panik Records.

Demy
L’ amour qu’ elle avait pour la musique s’est apparu très tôt. Elle a commencé d’ apprendre le piano quand elle avait 5 ans, avant de commencer l’ école. Parallèlement elle s’est inscrite au chœur du conservatoire et elle a suivi des cours de théorie et harmonie, tandis qu’aujourd’hui elle continue de suivre des cours de phonétique et de piano.
En terminant l’école, Demy (Dimitra Papadea selon le monde) est entrée à la faculté de Droit, où elle étudie encore. Après avoir écouté nombreuses sortes de musique, et principalement du jazz, soul, rock ‘n roll et r&b, elle vise à expérimenter avec chaque chanson et interprétation. C’est difficile pour elle de se classer dans un genre spécifique de musique.
La suite a emmené Demy à Panik Records. Avec le single percé « Mia zografia-O kosmos mas » (Un dessin-Notre monde) elle a connu un grand succès : plus de 10.000.000 de vues sur Youtube. Elle est restée au sommet du airplay chart pendant des mois!
En 2011, Demy nous a présenté le version 2012 de « Mono brosta » (Seulement avant). OGE et Romy Papadea ont écrit les vers. La production de la chanson a été éditée par le groupe de producteurs Lemonplay. « Mono brosta » a grimpé à la première position du national airplay chart, au répertoire grec et continue d’être parmi les top 5 d’artistes internationaux !
Sa participation suivante est avec la chanson Fallin’ des suprêmes dj et producteurs musicaux grecs Playmen. Sa voix a un timbre doux et caractéristique, elle donne un caractère mélodique à une danse hit très fort ! Et elle atteint encore une fois le sommet des charts !
Fallin’ est dévoilé globalement par la fameuse maison de disques Ultra et à l’ Europe Orientale par l’émergente Broma16, où elle a aussi atteint le No1 des charts ! Le printemps de 2012, après leur immense succès radiophonique, plus de 50.000 fans les attendaient au Europa Plus Festival à Russie pour les adorer à une prestation live.
La sortie de son premier cd single aves les deux grands succès « Mia zografia- O kosmos mas » et « Mono brosta » et sa nouvelle chanson, non encore publiée, avec le titre « Kratise me » (Tiens moi) ont atteint des ventes d’or dans une semaine !
Son single d’été « Poses chiliades kalokairia » (Combien de milliers d’étés) a dépassé tout précédent des productions grecques. Il est resté au No1 du airplay chart officiel de Media Inspector pour plus de 10 semaines, en offrant à Demy encore une « première ».
Une chanson avec deux signatures importantes. Dimitris Kontopoulos (composition et production) et Nikos Moraitis (vers), deux créateurs parmis les plus qualifiés en Grèce, ont offert à la meilleure émergente de l’année une chanson magique.
Demy a gagné au concours « Femmes de l’année » en 2011, à la catégorie « émergente de l’année » et a presque monopolisé les candidatures sur 6 catégories aux Mad Video Music Awards 2012. Elle a gagné le prix important d’Artiste émergente, le hip hop/urban et le duo/collaboration avec Midenistis (Nihiliste) et la chanson « Mia zografia-O kosmos mas » (Un dessin-Notre monde).
En 2012 elle accueille son nouveau single « I Zoi-To pio omorfo tragoudi » (La vie-La chanson la plus belle) qui a atteint dans 4 semaines le No1 du chart officiel de Media Inspector.
Demy continue pendant 2013 et elle honore le titre du phénomène musical, puisque chaque création atteint le sommet. La ballade sentimentale « Ki an propsatho » (Même si j’essaie) a été reçue comme toute ses autres créations.
L’été de 2013 finit épisodiquement avec le single « The Sun » qui a été dévoilé avec la signature du producteur en or Alex Leon. Un suprême single d’été qui atteint le No1 des charts et reste là pendant des mois, en lui offrant une reconnaissance musicale.
En Septembre 2013 elle revient aux charts avec une chanson sentimentale impétueuse et elle nous rempli avec son énergie unique ! « Meno » (Je reste) est son single suivant, qui fait parti de son disque de platine « #1 ». Une mélodie dynamique de Dimitris Kontopoulos, aux vers de Nikos Moraitis !
Demy compte des distinctions, comme l’ obtention des 4 prix aux Mad Music Awards, des collaborations suprêmes avec Sakis Rouvas et Anna Vissi, le rôle principal au musical légendaire « Fame » et une attribution de platine pour son premier disque « #1 » avec Panik Records.
Le Janvier de 2014 trouve Demy avec une autre collaboration réussie, avec
Playmen et la chanson « Nothing Better ».
En Avril de 2014 Demy obtient encore un rôle principal, celui d’une diva au show théâtral – musical « Priscilla ». Une interprétation révélatrice qui lui a donné des critiques dithyrambiques.
En 2014, avec le Single « Oso o kosmos tha echi esena » (Tandis que le monde t’en a) elle obtient rapidement le No1 aux grecs airplay charts et reste dans la première position pour nombreuses semaines !
La fin de l’année 2014 a été triomphante : Demy est devenue une coach de musique au concours des talents musicaux pour des enfants « The music school » et avec la publication de son deuxième album « Rodino Oniro » (Rêve de rose).
Pendant l’été de 2015 elle obtient deux prix aux Mad Video Music Awards 2015 : Meilleur Duo-« Oso o kosmos tha echi esena », Best Female Modern et elle surprend le publique et les juges avec son interprétation impressionnante au rôle principal de Maria Fon Trap au musical « La mélodie du bonheur ». Le musical a fait une tournée dans toute la Grèce et la plupart des shows étaient tous vendus.
Pendant 2015-2016 elle obtient le rôle principal au musical « Adams Family ».
Pendant 2016-2017 elle obtient le rôle principal au musical « Mama Mia » de Abba.
