Media Accreditation for Eurovision 2026
The 70th Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Vienna, Austria. It includes the two Semi-Finals, on 12 and 14 May 2026, and the Grand Final, on 16 May 2026.
Professional journalists and media technicians who wish to cover the event are required to follow a specific accreditation procedure, in accordance with the regulations of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
Accreditation requests may be submitted until Tuesday, 31 March 2026, at 23:59.
All applicants for accreditation are bound by the Event Code of Conduct, which is available here:

Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct may result in rejection or withdrawal of accreditation.
Two Media Centres will operate:
a) A Media Centre at the venue of the Contest in Vienna (Media Centre). It will operate from Sunday, 10 May 2026, until the early morning hours of Sunday, 17 May 2026.
b) An Online Media Centre, which will allow coverage of the Contest remotely, providing access to press conferences and selected rehearsals.
Journalists accredited for the Media Centre will also have access to the Online Media Centre. Accreditation is required for both Media Centres.
Media Categories
Applicants may apply for only one of the following categories and, if their application is approved, they will receive the corresponding accreditation.
M1 – INTERNATIONAL MEDIA
M2 – NATIONAL MEDIA
M3 – REGIONAL OR SPECIALIZED MEDIA
M4 – DIGITAL CONTENT CREATORS AND MEDIA EXCLUSIVELY COVERING THE EUROVISION SONG CONTEST
M5 – ONLINE MEDIA CENTRE ACCESS ONLY (ONLINE MEDIA CENTRE)
Please note that accreditation requests from employees of national and regional media will be examined by ERT, while requests from digital content creators and from media exclusively covering the Eurovision Song Contest will be examined by the EBU.
Accreditation Application Procedure
Accreditation requests must be submitted exclusively through the EBU’s EventGo platform:

Step 1: Media representatives select the category “Media” on the platform. Media dedicated exclusively to covering the Eurovision Song Contest, as well as digital content creators, select the category “Specialized Media”.
Step 2: Applicants select whether they wish to apply for access exclusively to the Online Media Centre (Online accreditation).
Step 3: Applicants complete the application form corresponding to the type of accreditation of their choice, providing the required information in accordance with the relevant instructions given in each case.
Applicants requesting access to the Media Centre in Vienna are required to upload a copy of their identity card or passport. Please note that a driving license cannot be used.
